DAVIS, Calif.-- Stanford's collegiate baseball game at UC Davis, scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed to Thursday, still at 2 p.m. Stanford enters the game at 4-3, UC Davis is 4-4. Weather in the area has caused the delay.
With the move, the Cardinal are scheduled to play four-straight against Big West Conference opponents, UCD on Thursday and UC Santa Barbara at home at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond for a three-game series on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Game times for the three games are 5:30 p.m., 1 p.m. And 1 p.m.
Scheduled starters for Thursday will be LHP Garrett Hughes (0-0, 13.50 ERA) for Stanford and LHP Nathan Slater (1-0, 0.00 ERA).
The weekend rotation has also been set with RHP Jordan Pries (1-1, 4.85), LHP Scott Snodgress (0-1, 4.50) and LHP Brett Mooneyham (0-1, 6.97) going for Stanford against UC Santa Barbara's LHP Mario Hollands (1-0, 0.00), RHP Nick Loredo (0-0, 5.68) and LHP Nick Capito (0-1, 1.23).
