STANFORD
Sean Ratliff extended his season-high hit streak to 12 games, which is one shy of his career-high 13-game run from April 21 - May 13, 2007, homered for the fourth time in his last six contests and had an extra-base hit for the sixth consecutive contest.

Randy Molina extended his career-high hit streak to eight games.

Cord Phelps had his season-high hit streak ended at eight in a row.

David Stringer had the longest relief stint by a Stanford pitcher in 2008 with his 6.1 innings of work.

Joey August played for the first time since March 9.

• Stanford will need to win the final two games of the Arizona State series Saturday and Sunday to extend its regular season three-game series win streak to nine.and avoid dropping a home series to Arizona State for the first time since 1997. Stanford is a perfect 8-0 (5-0 Saturdays, 3-0 Sundays) on weekends in 2008.

Randy Molina had a career-high 14 putouts.
