The Stanford baseball team suffered its fourth loss of the season, dropping a 13-5 decision at Peccole Park Thursday. The loss dropped the Cardinal's record to 22-4-1.

Stanford jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Edmond Muth homered with the leadoff man on base. The score remained that way until the bottom of the sixth inning when the Wolf Pack scored four runs to take the lead.

After Stanford pulled within one-run at 4-3, UNR put the game away with a six-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Stanford was led offensively by Muth, who finished the game 3-for-4 with four RBI. Centerfielder Jody Gerut also had two hits for the Cardinal which finished with 10 hits as a team.
