Stanford, Calif. - Zach Jones' RBI double to the rightcenter field gap with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning scored Jeff Whitlow and lifted Stanford (6-2) to a dramatic 6-5 victory over Cal State Fullerton (3-3) to complete a three-game series sweep of the Titans on Sunday at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond. A season-high crowd of 2,003 was treated to a sun-splashed afternoon and an entertaining contest that featured four lead changes and four ties.

Whitlow set up Jones' dramatic game-winner when he reached on a throwing error by Cal State Fullerton shortstop Christian Colon on the previous play.

The three-game sweep of the Titans was the third time in a row Stanford has swept the national powerhouse at home dating back to 2004. Stanford has won a total of 10 straight home games against the Titans as well as 18 of the last 19.
