Stanford's baseball team remains undefeated after beating Santa Clara 8-3 on Tuesday in Santa Clara. The Cardinal improve to 14-0-1, while the Broncos fall to 8-5.

First baseman John Gall went 3-for-5, drove in two runs and stole two bases for the Cardinal, who will travel to Tempe on Friday for a three game homestand with Arizona State. The combined pitching effort of starter Geoff Linville, Jason Young and Brad Drew doomed the Broncos to just six hits. Young got his first win of the year, Drew his first save.
