Summer Ball: Playing with Stanford teammates Sahil Bloom and Christian Griffiths playing for Mystic in the 2011 New England Collegiate Baseball League, hit a team-best .315 over 37 games with 21 runs and team-high 24 RBIs... also walked 16 games, with nine doubles and three homers primarily as the team's second baseman.

As a freshman in 2011: Came on late in the year with 5 starts at DH and 10 games overall, batting .286 with two runs, two doubles and one RBI... game-winning, two-out single in the 11th to take series opener v. No. 27 Arizona (5/20)... two hits and a run at Oregon (5/13)... first start came on May 6, getting a double in his third collegiate at-bat.

High School: Three-year varsity letterman in baseball at Jonathan Law High ... named the New Haven Register's area MVP following a .356 senior season at second base where he had a .520 on-base percentage and .699 slugging percentage ... scored 21 runs and had 23 RBIs with five doubles, one triple and six homers ... walked 24 times in 98 plate appearances ... on the mound had a 1.60 ERA over 48.0 innings with 40 strikeouts and 18 walks ... twice named all-area and to the 2010 all-state team ... as a junior hit .532 with a .615 on-base percentage and .861 slugging percentage with 13 doubles, two triples and three homers over 96 plate appearances ... also scored 36 times and drove in 20 with 15 walks... had a 6-2 record with a 1.09 ERA over 57.2 innings with 45 strikeouts and 12 walks ... finished his career with a school record for hits (101) and a city record for batting average (.532) as a junior ... team won the state title in 2008 and divisional titles in 2009 and 2010 ... three-time academic all-league selection.
