Complete List of All-Academic Teams 
The Stanford women can add another piece of hardware to their collection as they were named the 2007 NCAA Division I USTFCCCA Women's All-Academic Cross Country Team of the Year, announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Stanford also won the award in 2006. This year, they carried a cumulative team grade point average of 3.47.
The Cardinal won every major race they entered this season, including the Pac-10 Championships, the NCAA West Regional Meet, and the NCAA Championships.
"This is a great honor for our team and for Stanford University," head coach Peter Tegen said. "I am very proud to work with such an exceptionally dedicated group on a daily basis."
The Stanford men were also honored as an All-Academic Cross Country Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The men carried a 3.32 team GPA.
Iona College won the award for the top men's team after finishing with a 3.00 team GPA and a second place finish at the NCAA Championships.
