2000 Cross Country Season (Sophomore): A member of the Cardinal teams that finished fourth at the NCAA Championships and first at the Pac-10 Championships.

1999 Cross Country Season (Freshman): Competed in two races (BYU Invitational, Pre-NCAA's) ... Finished fourth at the BYU Invitational after which an injury ended his season early.

2001 Track & Field Season (Sophomore): Redshirted.

2000 Track & Field Season (Freshman): Gained entry into the NCAA's with a time of 3:43.1 in the 1,500 meters ... The #1 ranked freshman in the NCAA's at 1,500 meters ... Ran the 5,000 meters at the Pacific-10 Championships with an eighth place time of 14:18.75 ... In the summer of 2000, he lowered his time to 3:40.65, narrowly missing a spot at the U.S. Olympic Trials ... Finished the year ranked 21st in the United States.
