At Stanford: Ran on Stanford's third-place team at the 2012 NCAA Championships.

2012 Season (Sophomore): Was the team's No. 6 runner at the NCAA Championships in Louisville, Ky. (Nov. 17), helping Stanford finish third as a team, its best finish since 2007 ... finished 161st in the race, covering 6K in 21:11.9 ... made collegiate cross-country debut at the Stanford Invitational, finishing 45th (6K, 22:01) while running for the Stanford 'B' team ... No. 7 runner on Stanford's Pac-12 third-place team, finishing 68th in 22:20 (6K) in Santa Clarita, Calif.

2011 Season (Freshman): Did not race.

High School: A three-time state champion in cross country ... won the state title in the 1,600 meters from 2008-2011 and the 3,200 from 2009-2011 ... the New Mexico state record holder in the 1,600, 3,200 and the 4x400-meter medley relay ... led Albuquerque Academy to the state title in cross country in 2007 and in track in 2007-2008 ... captained her squad in both cross country and track for two years.

International Competition: Competed for Team USA at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships in 2011.

Personal: Daughter of Leonard and Karen Foster ... major is undecided ... enjoys shopping, yoga, longboarding and biking ... full name is Julia Bova Foster.
