Stanford: An athlete with great range, he finished tenth last year in the 3,000 meters at the 2006 NCAA Indoor Championship to earn his first All-American honor • Also captured the MPSF individual title in the 3,000 meters in 2006 • Has gained valuable experience as a postseason competitor for the Cardinal throughout the year • Will bring leadership and reliability to this year's cross country squad.

2005 Cross Country Season (Junior): Helped the Cardinal to a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Championship • Placed 14th at the Pac-10 Championship as Stanford claimed the team title for the sixth-straight year, earning Second-Team All-Pac-10 honors • Runner-up at the Pre-NCAA meet.

2004 Cross Country Season (Sophomore): Helped lead Stanford to a Pac-10 Championship after finishing fourth individually • Placed 10th at the Pre-NCAA meet • Also finished 10th at the Notre Dame Invitational • A First-Team All-Pac-10 selection.

2003 Cross Country Season (Freshman): Placed 20th at the Pac-10 Championship to help the Cardinal to a team title • Finished third at the Bronco Invitational • Runner-up at the Cal Poly Invitational.

2002 Cross Country Season: Redshirted.

High School: 2001 and 2002 Oregon state high school champion in the 3,000 meters • 2002 Golden West champion in the 3,200 meters • Ran the third-fastest two-mile time (8:55.84) in the nation as a senior • 2001 Oregon state runner-up in cross country • Finished 10th at the Footlocker Nationals.
