2010 Season (RS Sophomore): Placed 15th at the Jim Huevel Twilight Invitational, covering the 6,000-meter course in 21:51 ... competed in the Stanford Invitational, covering the 8,000-meter course in 26:43 ... finished with a season best time of 25:19 for 8,000 meters at the Doc Adams Invitational to place 18th overall.

2009 Season (RS Freshman): Competed at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, covering the 8,000-meter course in 27:36.

2008 Season (Freshman): Redshirted

High School: A middle-distance specialist with international experience, he was among the nation's best in both the 800 (1:49.27) and the 1,600 meters (4:06.58) in 2008 ... 2006, 2007, and 2008 North Carolina state 800-meter champion and the 2007 and 2008 North Carolina state champion in the 1,600 meters...ran 1:49.48 for 800 meters in 2008, the fifth-fastest time in the nation.

International Competition: Competed in the 2009 Junior Pan-Am Games in the 800 meters where he finished fifth ... represented the United States and qualified for the final at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
