Stanford: Among the most decorated distance runners in the nation with three consecutive top-seven finishes at the NCAA Cross Country Championships ... among the favorites for the 2011 NCAA title ... former American junior record holder in the 5,000 meters with a time of 13:29.98 ... earned international experience as a member of the U.S. Junior National Cross Country team that competed in Amman, Jordan in 2009.

2010 Season (Junior): Placed fifth at the NCAA Cross Country Championships (29:44) to lead Stanford to a fourth-place team finish ... helped the Cardinal to the Pac-10 team title as a part of the Stanford 1-2-3 finish with teammates Elliott Heath and Jake Riley with each finishing in 23:00 ... earned the Pre-National individual title with a time of 23:16 to lead Stanford to the team title ... finished fourth at the Stanford Invitational, running the 8,000-meter course in 23:22 to lead Stanford to the team title.

2009 Season (Sophomore): The Pac-10 Athlete of the Year after winning both the Pac-10 and West Region individual titles ... placed third at the NCAA Cross Country Championships for his second-consecutive All-America season in cross country, covering the 10,000-meter course in 29:14.8 ... the NCAA Pre-National individual champion, defeating eventual NCAA Champion Samuel Chelanga of Liberty ... ran a season best 8,000-meter time of 22:25.41 at the Pac-10 Championships to lead Stanford to the team title ... led a Cardinal sweep at the Stanford Invitational with the individual title.
