Stanford: An accomplished middle distance runner whose versatility adds depth to the Cardinal's cross country squad • Made an immediate impact on the distance squad, capturing the Big Meet 800 meter title his freshman year • Earned his first All-American honor as a sophomore on the fourth-place distance medley relay team at the 2005 NCAA Indoor Championships • Added a second All-American honor as a part of the eighth-place distance medley relay team in 2006 • Has the potential to make significant contributions during the 2006 cross country season.

2004 Cross Country Season (Freshman): Competed in one race, placing seventh in the 4,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational to help the Cardinal capture the event title.

2003 Cross Country Season: Redshirted.

High School: 2003 Oregon high school 1,500 meter champion with a time of 3:51.39, the fourth-fastest performance in the nation that year • Runner-up in the 800 meters at the 2003 Oregon high school state meet and ran the sixth-fastest time in the nation for the 800 meters in 2003 • Finished sixth in the 1,500 meters (3:53.9) at the 2003 U.S. Junior National Championships.
