STANFORD, Calif. - Garrett Heath was honored as first team All-Academic All-District for men's track and field by ESPN The Magazine. By being named to the first team, Heath will now be eligible to earn All-Academic All-America status, which will be announced in a couple weeks.

Heath is an eight-time All-American in track and field and cross country who carries a 3.81 GPA in management science and engineering. He currently holds the third fastest time in the nation in the 1,500 meters and will be competing in the event at the NCAA Championships from June 10-13.

Academically, Heath has already been named Pac-10 All-Academic first team for the second straight year. Heath is also a three-time USTFCCA All-Academic All-American for track and field.
