Joseph Wagstaffe Position: Director of Operations Experience: Second Season

Joe Wagstaffe is his second season as the Director of Operations for Stanford Track and Field.

His day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to: budget management, cross country and track and field meet director, and team travel coordinator.

Wagstaffe comes to Stanford after a two-year stint as the national team manager for the U.S. Field Hockey Association. There, he handled the day-to-day operations of two Olympic-level programs. Wagstaffe also has experience with the U.S. Olympic Committee as a coordinator of operations where he met the day-to-day needs of Olympic level athletes.

A 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Wagstaffe also has a master's degree in sports management from Minnesota's Mankato State. Wagstaffe is a South Bay native and a graduate of San Jose's Bellarmine College Prep.
