2011 Season (Freshman): Ran a season-best time of 3:48.89 in the 1,500 meters at the Payton Jordan Invitational ... placed sixth at the Big Meet in the 1,500 with a time of 3:53.00 ... also competed in the 3,000 at the Big Meet ... season best of 1:53.44 for the 800 meters came at the Stanford Invitational ... ran a season best for the mile at the Husky Classic (4:13.16).
High School: Led Auburn-Riverside to the state meet all four years and won three South Puget Sound League championships (2006, 2007 and 2009) ... captained the team in 2009 to a sixth-place finish at the state championships ... captained the 2010 track team ... held Washington's second fastest time in the 1,600 meters in 2010 ... a three-time state qualifier in the 1,600 meters (2008, 2009 and 2010) ... a two-time state qualifier in the 800 meters (2008 and 2010) ... SPSL champion in the 800 and 1,600 meters his junior and senior years ... league champion in the 3,200 meters his senior year ... holds the school record in the distance medley relay with a time of 10:14 ... also was a member of the swim and dive team for three years.
Personal: Major is undeclared, but considering aeronautics and astronautic engineering, with hopes of becoming an aerospace engineer ... son of Randy and Terre Krotzer ... has two older siblings, Kevin and Keith, as well as two younger siblings, Korey and Kristina ... enjoys backpacking, camping, playing instruments, listening to music, and competitive eating.
