International: Competed in the 800 for the U.S. at the 2009 World Youth Championships in Sudtirol, Italy ... ran 1:53.59 to place sixth in his heat, but did not advance.

High School: A double winner in the 400 and 800 at the 2010 New Mexico 3A championships ... also won a 2009 state 3A title in the 800 and 2008 championship in the 400 ... a 2009 high school All-American in the 800 ... led Sandia to a state 3A runner-up finish in 2009 ...setSandia school records for the 200 (22.14), 400 (49.32), 800 (1:52.43) and 1,600 (4:29.35) ... also was a first-team all-state Class 3A-1A midfielder in soccer andled Sandia to a pair of state 3A titles ... a two-time captain of the Sandia track team.
