STANFORD, Calif.-- After Channel Islands sailor Annie Rossi was ruled ineligible, Stanford freshman Sally Mace and freshman teammate Molly McKinney won the women's Pacific Coast Conference Singlehanded Championships held on Friday. Both sailors are now headed to the national championships.

Head-to-head, Mace beat her freshman teammate in six of the 10 races.

With the disqualification, freshmen Mace and McKinney, followed by sophomore Eliza Richartz fired off a sweep of the top three spots. Mace and McKinney each won three races and finished with 28 points. Richartz had 32 points. Hannah Burroughs moved up a spot to fifth place with 55 points.
