2010-11 (Freshman): Skippered nine regattas and posted two wins in the A Division ... an All-PCCSC selection ... a part of Stanford's eighth-place performance in the National Team Championships and the Cardinal's 13th-place finish at the Coed Nationals ... started his collegiate career on a strong note, finishing in the top-three in four of his first five regattas ... won the Freshman Intersectional on Nov. 6 with a season-high three race victories ... placed first again at the PCCSC Spring Coeds after coming in the top-five in all 12 of his races ... never placed higher than 10th in a regatta on the season.
Prior to Stanford: Member of the U.S. Sailing team, competing at the Laser World Championships in Scotland and the Volvo Youth Championships in Turkey in 2010 and in 2009 at the Laser World Championships in Japan and the Laser European Championships in Denmark... in 2010, finished 13th in the world at the 2010 Laser Championships, while also winning the 2010 U.S. Youth Laser Championship... in 2009, won the Orange Bowl International Regatta in the laser and was the North American runner-up at the 2009 Laser Championships... won the U.S. Laser Radial National Championship in 2008... four-year letterman in sailing and captain all four years... team placed 10th at the Mallory National Championships in 2009 and were eighth at the Baker Team Racing Championships in 2007... finished second at the Cressy Singlehanded National Championships in 2008... part of the surfing and windsurfing programs at Lakewood High.
