Stanford ends up in the top ten in the country with a 7th place finish at the NCAA championships in Houstan TX. The top 6 finishers all had 9-12 athletes. Stanford went to nationals with only 6 and finished higher than all other schools with 6 or even 7 athletes.

Out of the 6 athletes.....4 earned the right to be called All-Americans. Martin Lee finished 4th earning him First Team All-American. Steve Gerberman and Eva Jellison finished 5th and 8th earning the Second team title. Teddy Levitt finished 9th earning a Second Team Title.
