STANFORD, Calif. - Two days after capturing its third straight IRA national title, Stanford Lightweight Women's Rowing earned more honors from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, as head coach Al Acosta was named CRCA National Coach of the Year for the fourth time, and I Eight members Jordan Duval-Smith, Liz Fenje and Genevieve Tuveson were named to the CRCA All-America Team.

The lightweight I Eight completed its three-peat with a two-second victory over Bucknell in the IRA Grand Final this past Saturday on the Cooper River in West Windsor, N.J.

Acosta's coach of the year honor is his third in a row and fourth in the past five years. He was honored in 2008 after Stanford's I Eight took third nationally, and has earned the award each of the past three seasons following the Cardinal's national title wins.

The announcement also marked the second straight All-America selection for Fenje, who has also competed for Canada at the Under-23 World Championships the past two summers.

For coxswain Duval-Smith and Tuveson, the All-America honors are the first of their careers.

Stanford's three selections were the most of any school, one ahead of Bucknell and Radcliffe (Harvard).
