The Stanford Lightweights finished Spring Break Training Camp with races in the Cal Cup and Lightweight Events at the San Deigo Crew Classic. The Card finished six out of seven in the Cal Cup heat, racing against heavyweight crews from Miami, St. Joseph's, St. Mary's, Temple, University of San Diego and Claremont. Miami would go on to win the Cal Cup grand final. In the Lightweight Eight grand final, the defending Crew Classic Champion Cardinal fell to the defending national champion Wisconisn Badgers 7:06.2 to 7:27.18.

In an exciting and historic win for the Stanford rowing program, the Card men won the Copley Cup, Varsity Eight grand final. Congratulations go out to the entire men's team.
