Prior to Stanford: Three-sport high school athlete in cross-country running, cross-country skiing, and track and field.

Personal: Double major in Psychology and Feminist Studies...Enjoys solving crossword puzzles, baking desserts, and summer hiking on trail-less mountains...Would someday like to do something useful with Feminist Studies degree...Parents are Laurel Scannell and Michael Kintner...Has one sister, Devin Scannell, 18.
