History

Team Cardinal started as a way for kids like you to get access to all of the Stanford sports and get the chance to see the teams compete. The Cardinal wants you to feel at home on the Farm (that's what we call the Stanford Campus!), and what better way to do that than come out to cheer on all the Cardinal athletes as they compete in Pac-12 competition.

Team Cardinal has continued to grow, reaching nearly 500 families across the Bay Area in 2012-2013 year alone. The program seeks to make Stanford accessible to all families in the area and provide a fun, family-centered place for you to come and enjoy some of the best collegiate athletic competition in the area.

TC Crew

Meet the TC Crew. The TC Crew is made up of Bay Area kids, just like you! Everyone has a few things in common:

1. TC Crew are the ultimate Cardinal fans
2. TC Crew are 8th grade or younger
3. TC Crew are the best cheering section in the stadium

How will you know who's part of the TC Crew at games? Just look for other Kids wearing their TC t-shirt and VIP access badge. They'll be out at the games, cheering on the Cardinal and helping the team win.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How much does it cost to join Team Cardinal?
Early Bird registration for 2013-14 Team Cardinal is $25 (May 1-July 31, 2013).  The price will increase to $35 for purchases August 1, 2013 or later.

What does my Team Cardinal membership include?
When you join Team Cardinal you will receive the following:

• FREE admission to most Stanford regular season sports including Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball and Baseball games*
• FREE admission to select Men's Basketball and Football games**
• 2013-2014 Team Cardinal T-shirt (to wear to all the Stanford games!)
• Team Cardinal VIP Access Badge (your ticket to all Team Cardinal ticketed events)
• Quarterly Team Cardinal Crew newsletter via email with all the inside scoop on Cardinal Athletics
• The opportunity to be a part of one of the best college sports traditions in the country at Stanford Athletics!

How often are there Team Cardinal events?
Team Cardinal events are held whenever a Stanford team is competing at home!^ Check out our EVENTS calendar to see what's coming up this month and get the latest information on all TC Crew events.

^Excluding Men's Basketball and Football, post-season competition, or where otherwise noted.

Where do we park for the events?
Parking is available near all sports venues. You can click here to see a campus map of all parking locations.

How much does parking cost?
Parking is FREE for all Stanford Athletics events except for Football. For Football, single game parking is $15 and available in select lots.

Can my brothers and sisters join Team Cardinal?
Absolutely! Any kid 8th grade or younger can register for Team Cardinal online. Once they register, they will receive their own Team Cardinal T-shirt and VIP access badge and can join you at the game!

Where can I purchase my Team Cardinal membership?
Team Cardinal memberships can be purchased online only at www.gostanford.com/teamcardinal

Memberships can also be purchased at the ticket office on the day of the game.

Can my parents join Team Cardinal?
Sorry, but only kids 8th grade or younger can be part of the Team Cardinal Crew. Your parents can come out to the game and purchase general admission tickets to sit with you, but they cannot be official Team Cardinal members (that's just for you!).

Can my parents buy tickets to sit next to me at the game?
Absolutely! Team Cardinal members receive general admission entrance to events so you can sit with your family and friends at every game!
