What is the Red Zone?
The Red Zone is the official student fan club of Stanford football and all Stanford sports teams except for men's basketball.  To learn about Stanford Men's Basketball's 6th Man Club, click here.

How do I become a Red Zone member?
Red Zone membership is absolutely FREE for the 2009-10 season.  To become a Red Zone member, a student must scan their SUID at Gate 3 of Stanford Stadium or at the designated student entrance of other athletics venues.

What are the benefits of Red Zone membership?
Benefits include FREE access to home football, women's volleyball, women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and baseball games.  In addition, you'll receive weekly Red Zone email notices, a Red Zone t-shirt to wear at all Stanford Athletics' events, and special promotions for every sport.  The Red Zone email notices provide you with point totals as well as the most up-to-date information on Stanford Athletics.

2009 Football Red Zone Alert!
Mark your calendars for Stanford Football's home opener against San Jose State on Sept 19, 2009!  Also note, the 112th Big Game vs. Cal is on November 21 (Thanksgiving break).  Please plan your travel schedules accordingly so that you don’t miss out on this annual event!

Football Red Zone Seating Section
The Red Zone is located in sections 105, 106, 108, 109, 110, and 111.  This area is located behind the Stanford team bench on the west (shady) side of the stadium.

2009 Football Loyalty Program
Because the Red Zone section is exclusively limited to 3,500 seats, the Red Zone Loyalty Point System helps to identify and reward the most loyal student fans.  Here's how the 2009 Football Loyalty Program works:

  • Your SUID is your ticket to the game. NOTE: It is the student's responsibility to make sure the SUID is scanned to receive appropriate points.
  • Students will receive between 0-3 points for every game they attend (see point system below).
  • Students will be notified early and often of their accumulated points
  • Student seating at the Big Game will be limited so attend games, earn your points, and secure your spot!  Students that earn 8-10 points by November 8th will automatically qualify for entrance to the Big Game against Cal on November 21 and the Notre Dame game on November 28.  Students with 7 points or less will be placed on "standby" and will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis until the Red Zone section is full.
