Stanford Summer Sailing Camp

BEGINNERS - LEARN TO SAIL Camp
Enjoy a summer of fun on the bay! Kids 9-15 can learn sailing and seamanship skills at the Stanford Boathouse in Redwood City. Our staff of highly-trained US SAILING Certified Instructors will teach your kids lifetime skills in our fleet of 14' Dinghies and our 24' and 30' keelboats. The new sailors have an opportunity for non-stop fun in, on and around the water in a safe, clean outdoor environment. No experience necessary.

Children should be comfortable in water and must complete a swim check. Lifejackets provided. Max 27 campers per session.

LTS Session I: June 21-July 3$600
LTS Session II: July 5-July 16$600
LTS Session III: July 19-July 30$600
LTS Session IV: Aug 2-Aug 13$600

INTERMEDIATE Sailors Camp
For kids 12-16 years old who want to expand on their seamanship skills and work towards competing in sailboat racing. The class will be held primarily in the Stanford Sailing Team's 14' Flying Junior Dinghies, preparing the sailors for the competitve California and national high school and college racing circuit. Intermediates will also have a chance to sail both our 24' and 30' Keelboats.

Two sessions of Beginner Camp or permission of Director of Sailing Required. Children should be comfortable in water and must complete a swim check. Lifejackets provided. Max 16 campers per session.

Int Session I: June 21-July 3$600
Int Session II: July 5-July 16$600
Int Session III: July 19-July 30$600
Int Session IV: Aug 2-Aug 13$600

DATES/TIMES
Instruction is Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am until 4:00pm. Campers bring their own lunch. Pre and post camp care is available at additional expense paid by parents directly to camp counselors.

LOCATION
Stanford Boathouse off Seaport Blvd in Redwood City. Transportation not provided.

TUITION
$600 per session. Non-refundable deposit of $100 required, balance due 10 business days before session begins. Register with the enclosed form or online at www.gostanford.com (for an additional convenience fee).

Note: Scholarships available, contact director.

CANCELLATIONS
$100 non-refundable deposit required. No balance refunds within 10 business days of camp session.

PAYMENT
Online via credit card or by check payable to "Stanford University."
