| A six-year veteran of the Majors Leagues, Terry was one of the first professional players to come through Stanford. Terry was a star shortstop for the Indians, captaining the team in 1913 and 1914. He became a four-year starter, first for the Pirates and then the Cubs from 1919 to 1922.
