| Pat Donovan was a two-time first team All-American selection on The Farm and one of the top linemen in Stanford football history. Donovan led the team in tackles in 1973 and was also a tremendous pass rusher. He teamed with Roger Stillwell to give Stanford the finest pair of defensive ends in the nation from 1972 to ’74. An intense, intelligent player Donovan was regarded as a “coach on the field”. Donovan was selected in the fourth round of the 1975 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys and converted to offensive tackle. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection from 1979-82. | |||||||||
