One of the most valuable members of the “Vow Boys” teams that played in three straight Rose Bowls from 1933-35, Monk Moscrip was known as a great defensive player who completely shut down opposing offenses on his side of the field. A two-time first team All-American at end in 1934 and ’35, he was named to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
