| Jim Lawson was Stanford’s first All-American, a consensus choice in 1924 after leading the Cardinal to an 8-1-1 mark and a Rose Bowl appearance against Notre Dame. He was known as a versatile two-way player and later returned to The Farm as an assistant coach under Clark Shaughnessy and helped implement the famous T-formation offense. | |||||||||||
