| Part of a legendary decade of Stanford tennis that saw the squad win five national titles from 1928-37, Joe Coughlin became just the seventh player since the turn of the century to win back-to-back national doubles crowns. After winning with teammate Keith Gledhill in 1932, he repeated the feat with Sam Lee a year later, giving Stanford its fourth doubles title in 11 years. | |||||||||
