| An overpowering lineman who starred on Stanford’s 1977 Sun Bowl championship team, Gordon King was a first team All-America and All-Pac-8 selection in 1977. Bill Walsh described him as “simply a good football player. I’ve never seen anyone block the way he does.” King’s great strength and size were his best assets on The Farm. A first round selection in the 1978 NFL Draft, King played ten seasons in the NFL for the New York Giants and New York Jets. | |||||||||
