| A three-time letterman for Stanford from 1966-68, George Buehler unselfish approach to the game allowed him to excel on both sides of the ball during his time on The Farm. A stalwart on the offensive line at the beginning of his career including some action at tight end, Buehler was moved to the defensive line as a senior and finished third on the team in tackles in ’68 with 85. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the second round of the 1969 NFL Draft and played eleven seasons in the NFL. Buehler dominated in a Super Bowl XI victory, leading the Raiders offense to 266 rushing yards in the game. | |||||||||||
