| Ed Cummings earned All-American honors in his senior season (1962) and excelled on both sides of the ball during his Stanford career. Recognized for his “aggressiveness, exceptional offensive and defensive performances, and unheralded efforts” following the ’61 season. The punishing fullback earned his stripes as a tough, hard-hitting player who carried the ball 70 times for 256 yards in his time on The Farm. The three-year letterman also spent time at inside linebacker, leading the team in tackles in 1961 and ’62 and accumulating 238 stops for his career. | |||||||||
