| One of the “Four Freshmen” that anchored the Cardinal squad in the mid-1980s, Dan Goldie led the team to two national titles during a decade that saw Stanford win the crown six times. Playing at the No. 1 spot for three years, Goldie was a three-time first-team All-American, winning Stanford’s ninth men’s tennis singles title to cap off his senior season.
