| A three-time letterman from 1965-67, Blaine Nye was a big, strong athlete who displayed powerful blocking skills and soft hands. In ’65, Nye played both tackle and end filling in wherever he was needed most. Though Nye was known as an extremely powerful one-on-one blocker, he was moved to defensive tackle where he earned honorable mention All-Pac-8 in ’66 and led the team in tackles with 104 in ‘67. Nye also lettered in rugby during his time on The Farm. | |||||||||
