Bill Corbus
Class: 1934
Sport: Football
Stanford: --
Stanford’s first two-time first team All-American, Bill Corbus was dubbed the “Baby-Faced Assassin” because of his relentless assault on opponents on both sides of the ball. Corbus starred on the 1933 “Vow Boys” squad and kicked two fourth quarter field goals in the Cardinal’s 13-7 victory over USC before 90,000 fans at the Los Angeles Coliseum snapping the Trojans 27-game win streak. The three-year letterman was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1957.
