Bruno Banducci was a vital member of Coach Clark Shaugnessy’s “Wow Boys” and member of the 1940 team that finished with a 10-0 record and a 21-13 Rose Bowl victory over Nebraska. The three-year letterman (1940-1942) was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1943 NFL Draft. Banducci was Named second team All-NFL in 1945 before signing with the San Francisco 49ers of the All-America Football Conference in 1946. He was named First team All-AAFC in 1946 and 1947, made several first and second All-NFL teams between 1951-54, and was elected to the Pro Bowl in 1954.
