We are proud of our long tradition of excellence in intercollegiate athletics. Stanford has won 15 consecutive Learfield Sports Directors' Cups as well as 97 NCAA team championships.

For more than 70 years, the Buck/Cardinal Club provided thousands of student-athletes the scholarship aid necessary to make their dreams of a Stanford education a reality. Today annual giving supports every player, every coach, and every sport. Donors to the Buck/Cardinal Club stand behind our 35 varsity teams and our 800-plus student-athletes. Their support helps cover expenses on and off the field including training, conditioning, transportation and lodging for away games, academic resources, and recruiting.

Our coaches focus their time on what they do best: preparing students to compete at the highest level, developing leadership skills that will last a lifetime, and encouraging and supporting academic achievement in the classroom.
