Junior James Wan (Woodbury, NY/Syosset HS) of the Stanford Men's Tennis Team was selected as the Stanford/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 28-April 3.

Wan won all three of his singles matches last week against No. 3 Illinois, No. 26 Washington and Oregon. Wan and teammate Jon Wong defeated Illinois' GD Jones and Marc Spicijaric last Wednesday to seal the doubles point and lead the Cardinal to a 5-2 upset over the Illini. Wan is now 12-1 in dual matches this season.

This is Wan's first Stanford/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor. Wan and the rest of the Cardinal Men's Tennis Team will return to action at UCLA this Friday, April 7 (1:30 pm).
