Senior Cassidy Krug (Coraopolis, PA/Montour) of the Stanford diving team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 5-11.

Krug was named the Women's Diver of the Meet at the 2007 Pac-10 Men's & Women's Diving Championships held Feb. 9-11 at the Weyerhauser Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. Krug swept the women's 1-meter and 3-meter event for the second and third Pac-10 crowns of her illustrious career. The five-time All-American posted a dominating victory in the 3-meter event on the first day of the meet, beating her nearest competitor by a notable 43.10 points. She then held off three UCLA divers for a slim 6.05 margin of victory the following day.

This is Krug's first Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor. Her two victories will count towards the team point totals when the swimmers conduct their portion of the league meet February 14-17 at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool in Long Beach, California.
