Senior Shaun Phillips (Spring Hill, TN/ Gateway Christian) of the Stanford men's swim team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 22-28.

Phillips recorded two victories in the 500 free and 1650 free to lead the second-ranked Stanford men's swimming and diving team to a 141-95?Pac-10 victory over sixth-ranked USC. He swam the 500 free in a time of 4:27.71 while chalking up a time of 15:10.15 in the 1650 free.?Stanford is 4-0 in dual meets this year, and 3-0 in the Pac-10.?

This is Phillips' first Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor. Phillips and the rest of the Cardinal men's swimming squad return to action on February 10 at California.
