About Steuber Rugby Stadium
Steuber Rugby Stadium is home to both the men's and women's Rugby teams. Stadium construction was completed in March 2003 at a cost of $3 million. The facility is named after the Steuber Family.
80m x 150m within fence. 70m x 132m playable field with 5 m run out.
The field is Tif-2 Hybrid Bermuda with Rye over seeding and a Sand filled Channel Drain.
The scoreboard was designed by Daktronics for rugby use only.
Doyle Family Rugby Clubhouse
The Doyle Family Rugby Clubhouse is located behind the bleacher overlooking the Rugby Field. The Clubhouse is used for Pre and Post Game Events and can also serve as a meeting space for the teams.
Steuber Rugby Stadium is located south of Masters Grove and adjacent to Boyd & Jill Smith Family Stadium (the softball stadium). To access the field, walk from the east side of the Klein Field at Sunken Diamond Parking Lot past Maloney Field and Masters Grove.
From Highway 101 North & South:
- Take the Embarcadero Road exit west towards Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street. Cross El Camino Real and continue on Galvez. Turn left onto Nelson Road and proceed into the Klein Field at Sunken Diamond Parking Lot. To access Steuber Rugby Stadium, walk from the east side of the parking lot past Maloney Field and Masters Grove.
From Highway 280 North & South: You have three alternative routes.
- Exit Sand Hill Road east towards Stanford. Continue on Sand Hill until you reach the Stanford Shopping Center. Turn right onto Arboretum Road and make another right onto Galvez Street. Then, make a left onto Nelson Road and proceed into the Klein Field at Sunken Diamond Parking Lot. To access Steuber Rugby Stadium, walk from the east side of the parking lot past Maloney Field and Masters Grove.
- Exit Alpine Road east towards Stanford. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Junipero Serra Blvd. Turn east at the next traffic light onto Campus Drive West. Continue on Campus Drive until you reach Galvez Street, where you'll take a left. Turn left onto Nelson Road and proceed into the Klein Field at Sunken Diamond Parking Lot. To access Steuber Rugby Stadium, wallk from the east side of the parking lot past Maloney Field and Masters Grove.
- Exit Page Mill Road towards Palo Alto. Turn left at the second traffic light onto Junipero Serra Blvd. Continue on Junipero Serra Blvd. and turn right onto Campus Drive East. Take a right onto Galvez Street, then make a left onto Nelson Road and proceed into the Klein Field at Sunken Diamond Parking Lot. To access Steuber Rugby Stadium, walk from the east side of the parking lot past Maloney Field and Masters Grove.

Parking is located in the Varsity Parking Lot next to Klein Field at Sunken Diamond. Marked disabled spaces are available in the south end of the lot. A Disabled Placard (from any state) will be necessary to access the disabled parking areas.
