Gates open one hour prior to the start of events.
Guest Services, including Lost and Found, are handled
through any Redcoat or the Event Manager.
The following items are prohibited:
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Animals (except service animals)
- Frisbees
- Backpacks, bags, purses and coolers larger than 12"x12"x15
- Banners and signs attached to poles
- Bicycles, rollerblades and skateboards
- Cans and glass containers
- Horns and any artificial noisemakers
- Strollers and lawn furniture
- Weapons and firearms
- Plastic containers (larger than 20oz or unsealed)
- Umbrellas (opened in stands)
- Whole fruit
PLEASE NOTE:
- Smoking is prohibited in all areas inside Stanford Stadium.
Restrooms are located at the base of the stairs on the north side of the facility.

About
the Boyd & Jill Smith Family Stadium
Boyd & Jill Smith Family Stadium is home to the
Stanford softball team. Phase 1 of the construction was
completed prior to the 1997 season. Phase 2, completed in the spring of
2001, included permanent seating, restroom facilities, a new batting
cage, and a press box.
Regular season varsity athletic events are free
admission (Softball, M/W Swimming, M/W Water Polo, Syncronized
Swimming). If tickets are sold for an event, the ticket
windows on the east side of the facility will open one hour prior to
the event. Tickets are sold on the day of the event

Boyd & Jill Smith Family Stadium has a fixed
seating capacity of 820. The total facility capacity is 1,500
with a scaleable capacity of 3,500. The stadium has fixed,
theater-style seating with individual seats.
Disabled and disabled companion seating is available
along the upper walkway on either side of the press box.
Boyd & Jill Smith Family Stadium is located
south of Sunken Diamond, off of Churchill Mall. To access the field,
walk from the west side of the Varsity Parking Lot, past Sunken Diamond.

Parking is available in the Varsity Parking
Lot. Entrance to the lot is via Nelson Road off of Galvez
Road. The Boyd & Jill Smith Family Stadium entrance
is off of the plaza on the northeast corner of the stadium.
Marked disabled spaces are available in the south end of the
lot. A Disabled Placard (from any state) will be necessary to
access the disabled parking areas.
Stanford athletic facilities accommodate disabled guests
by wheelchair ramps, lowered drinking fountains, Braille signage and
wider doorways.
Seating
Boyd and Jill Smith Family Softball Stadium has easy access to the
disabled sections via wheelchair accessible ramps on the 1st Base line
and 3rd Base Line of the stadium. Disabled and disabled
companion seating is available along the upper walkway on either side
of the press box.
