Donating Items to the Hall of Fame
The Stanford University Archives was created in 1965 by the Stanford Board of Trustees to collect, preserve, and make available the historically and legally valuable record of the University and of Stanford community members. As part of its mission, the Archives collects memorabilia and documentation related to athletics and athletes at Stanford. The Sydney and Theodore Rosenberg Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame Room presents new and exciting opportunities to exhibit Stanford sports memorabilia.
Alumni, students and friends of the University are invited to participate in preserving Stanford's athletic heritage by donating items from the 1940s to the present.
Donated items will be recorded and catalogued by the University Archives and will be housed in secure storage areas. Fragile or light sensitive items will be exhibited on a rotating basis.
University Archivist Maggie Kimball and her staff will be pleased to answer any questions regarding gifts, preservation or exhibition. Contact the University Archives at (650) 725-1161 for more information.
