NEW NCAA RULE: Student-athletes must complete six units at the end of the term to be eligible for post-season competition and achieve the required cumulative GPA (sophomores: 1.80, juniors: 1.90, seniors and 5th years: 2.00)
  • "Athletic/Activity" units include credits awarded for varsity sport participation, recreation classes and band participation etc. Only the first eight units of athletic/activity credit noted on your transcript will count towards six-unit completion and be used to calculate degree completion. (DO NOT COUNT ON ATHLETIC UNITS FOR NCAA ACADEMIC CERTIFICATION – RELY ONLY ON ACADEMIC UNITS.)
