STANFORD, Calif. – Eleven Stanford players earned inclusion on the national women’s water polo All-Academic team, as announced by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.

Stanford, the NCAA champion, nearly doubled the next-highest total of six from any other teams in its conference, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

Headlining Stanford’s All-Academic selections were five All-Americans, including national player of the year Annika Dries. Fellow first-team All-America Maggie Steffens, and honorable mention choices Ashley Grossman, Jamie Neushul, and Gabby Stone also were honored.

Stanford’s All-Academic selections also included Emily Dorst, Danijela Jackovich, Kaitlyn Jo, Sophia Monaghan, Cassidy Papa, and Kelsey Suggs.
