  • Named to the 2012 Mizuno/Volleyball Boys' Fab 50, which honors the top 50 seniors in the country

Personal:

  • The son of Don and Carolyn Shaw 
  • Father coached the Stanford women's volleyball team to four NCAA titles in 16 seasons (440-70, .863), and was the Cardinal men's head coach for seven seasons 
  • Sister, Jordan, played volleyball at Saint Mary's College
