STANFORD, Calif. – The NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Committee announced Tuesday the participants in the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships.
Stanford’s eight swimmers include Connor Black (100 fly), Drew Cosgarea (400 IM), Tom Kremer (200 free, 200 fly), David Nolan (200 IM, 100 back, 200 back), Mason Shaw (100 breast), Daniel Thomson (1,650), Gray Umbach (200 IM) and Max Williamson (200 IM, 400 IM).
The championships will be held March 27-29 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas. Texas will serve as the host.
ESPN3.com will stream March 27-28 finals sessions live. Additionally, ESPNU will air a 90-minute show at 5 p.m. (PT) on April 9.
A total of 270 participants (235 swimmers and 35 divers) will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the swimming portion of the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. Divers will be determined by performances achieved at the Zone Diving meets March 10-16.
