15 All-Academic Selections

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford men’s rowing tied for the most Pac-12 All-Academic team selections for 2013-14 with 15 and had the most individuals on the first team of any school in the conference with 12.

Leading the way for Stanford on the first team was Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year Austin Hack. Also named the Pac-12 Athlete of the Year, Hack was joined on the first team by fellow All-Pac-12 honoree Kaess Smith. The other Cardinal members on the first team include seniors Cole Johnson and Will Robins, juniors Scott Roycroft and Andrew Terajewicz and sophomores Ben Chuter, Nico Cserepy, Kendall Fagan, Robbie Ostrow, Ben Weems and Nathalie Weiss.

On the second team for Stanford are sophomores Andrew Gyenis, Karl Wessendorf and Greg Wolk.

The Cardinal placed 13th in the varsity eight and 17th in the 2V8 at the IRA Championships last weekend to close out its season.
